Welcome!
This year is going to be quite a bit different from how I have taught in the past. For many reasons, we are switching to more of a web-based experience. So, whether you are at home or in school, you will have access to this website as a resource to get your work done. Hopefully, this will make for a better learning environment for us all.
How to use this Online Class:
If this is your first time here, please read the following sections before you get started. If you need help or have any questions, please contact me. If you are a student, read the 'class syllabus' and the 'for students' section. If you are a parent wondering how to support your student, please read the 'for parents' section.
Communication, as always, is the most essential part of learning, so don't hesitate to send an email to astrumecki@oledu.ca
* Important note to Safari Users - You may have difficulty playing some video. If in doubt, use Chrome.
Using Google Classroom:
While assignments and videos are available through the app, students must complete their work through the Google Classroom App.
To get started, students will either email me directly through astrumecki@oledu.ca OR will be sent a link through your school provided email account.
After which you can check your classroom directly through an app (available on smartphone, tablet or even Xbox or Playstation) or through a web browser.
